Words can't express the joy this weekend has brought me! This weekend was the first race I have had in a Spec Miata. Friday started off with getting used to the car and focusing on driving. Saturday was the first race day and we ended qualifying fourth in our class (SMT). That was a huge confidence boost, as I knew that I wasn't terribly far off pace of the others. After a hard fought race I came home with a fifth place finish, while fighting for third, however I just didn't play the draft game right. Sunday was only a 30 minute race, however today I had way more confidence in not only my driving abilities, but also my racing ability! We had a strong start after starting fourth in class, but twenty-sixth overall. I had amazing pace all throughout the race thanks to @treyin17 and was continuing to move through the field and in the end, I played the draft game right and came home second in class and tenth overall! This weekend was such an amazing experience and to top it, I got a podium in my first ever race weekend! But none of this would of been possible if it wasn't for@treyin17 @copelandmotorsports@dalton8dow@toyotires@sccaofficial@nextzettusa@stilo_official and the most of all my dad, grandparents, and stepmom so thank you all for allowing me to live my dream!
